Based
on constantly rising costs, and the overall state of the Feather
industry, it has become necessary for us to simply our Fluffy and
Plume offering.
Our 1st Quality Base Plumes (Item 4010) and 1st Quality Tip Plumes
(Item 4012) will stay the same, but will (in
most colors) usually be from 'strung' stock. These will
continue to be pre-packaged in 30 pc 'sets'.
All other pre-selected items have been
discontinued.
Plumes by Weight will no longer be pre-selected and sorted, but will
still be available as either 'Base' or 'Tip' plumes:
Base Plumes will be from our loose stock of Long Down.
Tip Plumes will be pulled from loose Short Down stock.
Each package will include all qualities of plumes, but will be an
assortment, and will undoubtedly include some pieces that may not
meet previous standards for what once constituted a 'typical' Base
or Tip plume.
All of the 22 colors we have offered for over 60 years will remain
in our assortment, which is still the best color selection found
anywhere in the industry.
